So, I'm guessing life is really busy for everyone?I still might try and get this off the ground...Erin just joined, so we have a few people who have joined and hopefully we'd be able to get in touch with the majority of the members one way or another? Is anyone still interested in reading? I'd like at least to try to keep in touch with everybody.I hung out with Michelle in August in Greek Town in Chicago, and Ashley and Megan are in NYC (as well as Michelle!). I've talked to both of them a few times. At the moment, I'm working at the Library of the Health Sciences in Urbana (though it's technically a UIC, not a UIUC, library). I'm very much enjoying GSLIS (Graduate School of Library and Information Science) and this weekend I will be in East St. Louis for my networking class. Over the course of three trips we'll be setting up computer networks at some nonprofits. I do believe the place my group is working at is a Baptist church. So, pretty neat.: ) I also volunteer once a week at the Center for Children's Books over at GSLIS, and that I have later tonight after I work. They're having me create a display. I know some people were thinking of doing an LIS program, and I'd be happy to let them know about how things are done at the University of Illinois' program or point out some of the national and international organizations that deal with different specialties.Hope everyone is doing well!! Take care!p.s. I lightened the colors a bit... I think it needed it.
